In this room the Maestro slept and used to work. Next to the
canopy bed the bed-table and a shelf housing the books the
Maestro consulted most frequently; the wardrobe, the armoury
with hunting arms; the Erard grand piano on which the Maestro's
terracotta bust realised in 1872 by Vincenzo Gemito in Naples
has been laid.
